GELA and LISAA Resume Workshop

The Greater Edmonton Library Association (GELA) and the University of Alberta Library Information Studies Alumni Association (LISAA) will be offering a Resume Workshop. LISAA and GELA wish to assist local students, new graduates, and professionals looking to improve their resumes.

Where: MacEwan University, Building 5, Room 5-323 (campus map)

Date: April 19, 2018

Time: 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Food: Light refreshments will be provided.

To attend this resume-focused evening, please complete the RSVP form by Wednesday April 11th.

Workshop attendees will rotate between three optional stations:

• Have your resume reviewed by an experienced professional

  • Note: We recommend you submit your resume in advance via the RSVP form in order to make the most of your review session. Bringing a paper copy to the workshop is also encouraged.

• Engage in resume peer review with other attendees

• Review resume tips and materials

We are also looking for additional resume reviewers. We welcome resume reviewers of all experience levels, though hiring experience is recommended. To volunteer as a resume reviewer, please complete the RSVP form by Wednesday April 6th.
