Natasha D’Amours
President
Natasha D’Amours is an MLIS student at the University of Alberta. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Writing from the University of Victoria, with a minor in Digital and Interactive Media in the Arts. Her past experience has ranged from virtual reality film production to printing and bookbinding, and she is currently working at Bruce Peel Special Collections, as well as with the SpokenWeb UAlberta team

Jereme
Secretary, Edmonton Tool Library Representative
When not working, fencing, or hanging out with his cat, Jereme loves to volunteer with library related associations! He joined GELA as secretary while completing his MLIS at the University of Alberta, and continues to look forward to working with the other board members of GELA to connect librarians in the Edmonton area together.

Marissa Stelmack
Treasurer
Marissa is an MLIS/MA in Digital Humanities student at the University of Alberta. She has a Master of Art in English from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Art from Brandon University. Marissa has experience in public, academic, and special libraries, and is excited to work with her fellow executives to serve the greater Edmonton library community.

Ken Price
Publicity Coordinator
Ken is an MLIS student at the University of Alberta and Library Assistant at Edmonton Public Library. He has prior work in journalism, social services, and online marketing. He looks forward to building bridges between library workers with GELA.

Vincent is an MLIS student at the University of Alberta, a Library Assistant with the Edmonton Public Library, and a proud coffee enthusiast. His hobbies include building custom keyboards and making lattes. He looks forward to meeting and working with other aspiring librarians in the Edmonton area.

Alastair (he/they) is a first year student in MacEwan’s LIT Diploma program, and has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Calgary. He is passionate about libraries and the role they play in promoting lifelong learning.
